My Bio
I am a multi-talented artist confident in many mediums and genre.

I'm open to discuss all manner of things to do with Art, Inspiration and Creativity. I know a little about a lot and a a lot about a little.

My Art is based on integration and I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as an artist, to push the boundaries of what I think I can do farther than before. My current long standing challenge to create and complete enough work for a cohesive exhibition is now a dot on the horizon growing closer as my sails pick up the winds of change, purpose and direction.

I have recently been commissioned to do a stone carving that will be installed halfway down the country from where I live.  Yesterday the stone arrived, all 308kg (679lbs) of it and I proceeded to move it the 100m or so down the rocky, uneven, pothole filled, gravel driveway on a pallet jack and some running boards. It' only took 2 and a half hours and now it's sitting in my carport blocking my partners van from getting completely in.  It was so lucky I had the forethought to discuss it with her beforehand..(otherwise I might be pushing daisies right now)..because if it didn't fit through the back gate that is the only place it is going to fi

Been a while...

Well, it feels like aeons since I have graced these halls but to all those who missed me I'm back...and I have tons to show you.  I have been working and studying on Photoshop, learning glass fusing and finishing songs that express moments of clarity in my life so far.   I am going to start you off with a little catch up first and see what I can dig up from 2012, as you may know I take my time with works that often exceed the 300 hour mark.  My Awaken the Dream Part One (rocking somewhere around the 700hr mark) is well on it's way to being fully painted but I think I'll lay that out little by little as there is a great deal to notice in each

A Big Dream...

0 min read
In this world there aren't many dreamers like myself...uninhibited and overwhelmed with imagination.  As I try to communicate these dreams through my art and stories I have discovered many truths about myself and my strengths and weaknesses.  Many years ago I had a vision to create a book of dreams this is now culminating into existence thanks to my addition of Photoshop to my list of media.  Finally I can see some of the hard work coming to fruition as layers are more readily coloured than physically painting on paper.  This has opened many doors that before were locked to me.  The ability to use this program effectively will come with time

Thank you for joining my group!  :)
Thank you for watching :)
I quite thoroughly enjoyed looking through your gallery. Can't wait to see some more work :)
Thanks so much!  What was it you were most interested to see..I probably have it kicking around on the hard drive somewhere ;)  I literally have thousands scanned in now lol man I gotta have an exhibition soon to clear some room to create more!
Haha sounds like a plan ;). Well anything like the stuff I put in my collection I suppose :) Though variety is always good so I'm sure whatever you put up will be wonderful. I love seeing your dreams being created into the physical, you must have a great visual memory :).
Nice one, I thought of a new piece that I was waiting to 'reveal' but you inspired me to put it up now.  You're very perceptive to notice that I am so (thankfully) gifted with a photographic memory..I catch it all, the textures and hues but the colours I often have trouble with which was which.  Thanks for your kind words about my art, it's always nice to get some feedback. :D
